About Atalanta BC

Atalanta is a professional football club based in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. The club plays in Serie A after only playing in the FIGC leagues for 6 years, however they were unfortunately relegated after only 1 season competing. And since then they have moved between a number of Italian soccer league before eventually breaking back into the Serie A and maintaining their place in the tournament from 2011 to present.

As the club is made originally from two soccer teams, their design schemes have been combined to create the signature black and blue stripes still seen today for their home and away Atalanta jersey. Due to the color scheme, the club has earnt themselves the nick names ‘Orobic Nerazzuri’ (The Black and Blues).

The home Atalanta jersey 2022-23 is not very different from their usual shirts, with a simple blue and black striped design. A thick v neck collar and matching cuffs are the main changes from last year's Atalanta jersey. Joma place their logo on the right of the chest and the Atalanta badge in the centre, where it has been on 16 of their last 18 home shirts. Atlanta Bergamo text is found on the back beneath the collar and inside the hemline.
